I am a passionate developer, a Lego fan, and a coffee lover from Vargas, Venezuela; living in Santiago, Chile.
I'm a Software Engineer from Simón Bolívar University (USB, Venezuela) and I've been working as a Software Developer since 2014. During the last years, I've been using JavaScript (a little TypeScript), Node, React, Jest, and Cypress in my daily tasks. I've been around for a while, and I've worked with tools like Vue, Ionic, AngularJS, Rails, and Django.
I really trust in the practice and the process, and software development as a craft, for that reason I always try to do something different, such as working as a freelancer, working on open source projects or small side projects; with new or different technologies. Also, I like to be always learning but also teaching, so I've mentor other devs to help them grow up.
Interested in: React, Node, JAMStack, ServerLess, Next.js, GraphQL, OpenSource, Testing, A11y, and PWA.
Also, I always try to work on side projects or in freelance projects, with other tools and concepts.
You can see or download, in a more traditional version Resume in English or Resume in Spanish.
As a Software Factory worker (most of my work-time) I've been in really different projects. When I say different, it's really different, e. g. Uber Eats for Cows, Insurance companies, Hidroponic "Tomatoes" at home, Natural methods for the regulation of fertility, etc. Each of them represented a special problem which the team had to solve. I only listed some of them.
Worked in adding new features and modules in the app. Also, remaking old modules and making helper libs to be used in the whole application.
Made the interface of the first version of an app to be able to buy drinks using Bitcons and Lightning Network.
Worked on the second version of the App, the changes were focused on the mobile app, including new features and comunication with an extended API.
Included features focused on projects and profiles enhanced for a nonprofit organization which helps national parks to get donations from $1.
Worked on the first version of Alanna, which is a tourism startup which can help you manage your travel agency, your clients and their trips. Now it's known as Travel Contact.
Worked mostly on the interface of a quoting app, which connects with a Legacy app, to know the price, benefits and cons of insurance packs.
Also, I really enjoy spending time programming. So, if you have an Open Source project and need a hand, I"ll probably be pleased to help you. I have found some small open source projects and help them with small comments and commits but I'd like to participate in more. (P.S.: In fact, There are some apps which I want to develop, but, I can't show them yet)
